  1. Follow all admission steps as outlined in the College Catalog and be accepted into a program.
  2. Pay the $100 non-refundable application fee.
  3. Pay the I-901 SEVIS Fee and have a valid I-94.
  4. Have a U.S. Physical Address.
  5. Have a properly formatted e-mail address.
  6. Have a valid passport issued by your home country with an expiration date not less than one year from the college application date.
  7. Certain international students may be required to provide a statement of financial support or a sponsor letter indicating that tuition will be paid in advance of each semester and that a sponsor will provide all necessary living expenses for the student. Most international students cannot receive U.S. federal financial assistance, nor can they work legally in the United States without appropriate permission. The needed evidence of Financial Support must exceed $48,973 USD.
  8. Submit all transcripts from prior colleges and complete needed transfer steps (if applicable).
  9. Demonstrate fluency in the English Language by fulfilling one of the following:
    1. English is identified as an official language of your country of origin and was the principal language of instruction at your post-secondary institution.
    2. Completion of 12 semester credits of college credit (at least 3 units of which were in an English course) from a regionally accredited institution with a C+ (78%) of better in each course where English is the principal language.
    3. Completion of an approved intermediate-level English as a Second Language (ESL) program.
    4. Completion of two years of service in the United States Military.
    5. Scoring a minimum of 84 on the TOEFL, computer based version.
  10. Submit an English translation (if applicable) of all foreign transcripts with a course by course evaluation.
  11. Arrival to the United States no more than 30 days prior to the start of classes if a first time I-20 student.

The level of career services offered to international students/graduates varies and depends on employment opportunities permitted by the North American Free Trade Agreement and/or on students’/graduates’ visas.
