Stephanie Shelburne, PhD, NhD

Dr. Stephanie Shelburne is an Integrative Health Specialist, Researcher, Writer, and Educator. Her expertise lies in dietary resilience, trauma recovery, assisting individuals in moving from traumatic stress to traumatic growth, enhanced health and well-being through the S-ART framework for self-enhancement and optimal well-being.

As Dr. Shelburne says, “I am a lifetime student always learning what I can about the human condition; about alleviating suffering; about creating a vibrant life…” 

Having obtained multiple degrees and certifications, Dr. Shelburne is qualified to provide a wide variety of educational courses as well as interventional approaches.

Dr. Shelburne’s credentials consist of, BA Psychology and BA Religious Studies, Regents College/CSU Sacramento; MA in East/West Psychology with Somatic Emphasis, Spiritual Counseling Certificate, California Institute of Integral Studies; Graduate Studies in Somatic Psychology and Neurobiology, Santa Barbara Graduate Institute; Graduate Studies in Integrated Health Science,  Certificate in Socially Engaged Spirituality, Saybrook University; Doctorate in Holistic Nutrition, Clayton College; and Doctorate in MindBody Medicine, Saybrook University. Dr. Shelburne ahs also received Certification and Training in Massage Therapy, Reiki Level 1 and II and Reiki Master Teacher, Socially Engaged Spirituality Facilitator Training, Spiritual Alchemy of Gender Reconciliation Facilitator Training, Satyana Institute; Jungian Dream Analysis, Non-Violent Communication/Creative Non-Violence, Hospice Care and Pilates Instructor.

What sets Dr. Shelburne apart from most practitioners?  As she reveals, “it is my passion for science, a thorough understanding of the human bodymind, and a deep intuitive connection, all of which enable us to address the root cause of imbalance. Rather than focus on symptoms, an integrative approach allows me to understand the relevant data from conventional medicine, leveraged with the best of what modern science can offer, all while intuitively accessing your body’s natural healing mechanisms to lead the way to healing.”
