The Public Sector has been Dr. Morales-Meyers calling since early in her nursing career having served at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center as a nurse, Manager of Programs and Director of Continuum of Care and her newest role as Acting Director of Clinical Services with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health after having served six years as Deputy Director of Programs and Planning at the Community Health Services Division at the Department of Public Health. She also serves as part-time faculty in the Doctorate of Nursing Program at Cal State University Fullerton School of Nursing.
Dr. Morales-Meyer’s holds professional membership in National Association of Hispanic Nurses, American Public Health Association, Association of Rehabilitation Nurses and Case Management Society of America.
Dr. Morales-Meyers credentials began 22 years ago and consist of ADN, East Los Angeles Community College, BSN Public Health and Community Development, Cal State University Long Beach, MSN and MPH Community Collaboration, Community Advocacy, Access to HealthCare and Addressing Health Disciplines, Cal Sate University Long Beach, and Doctorate of Nursing Practice, Leadership, Cal State University Fullerton. She is certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse in addition to being Certified by the American Red Cross in Emergency Shelter.
