Frank has been teaching with Casa Loma since 2012 and has been able to apply his real-life experiences as an MRI Technologist to the classroom setting where students are able to transfer that knowledge to real life.

Tell Us About Yourself?
My name is Frank Roseto. I live in Ormond Beach, FL. Where I am married, and have a six year old daughter. I am a full time MRI Technologist at an Imaging Facility and an Online Instructor at Casa Loma College.
Tell Us About Your Educational Background.
I obtained my Associate’s Degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging from Casa Loma College in 2011 (I was the Valedictorian). 10 years later I received my Bachelor’s Degree in the Allied Health Leadership and Management Program at the very same legendary College.
What Inspired You to Pursue This Career Path?
I was inspired to pursue a career in the medical field 10 years ago because of the enticement of a rewarding, steady job where I could help people come to conclusions about their illnesses and ultimately help them get better. I was also very fortunate to be presented with the opportunity to pursue a career in teaching.
What Areas Within This Field Are of Interest to You? Is There an Area You Are More Focused On?
I’ve always been most interested in the neurological aspect of MRI. The human brain is a fascinating.
Is There Any Research You Are Working On?
Currently I conduct research studies on Alzheimer’s Patients.
What Have Been Your Most Important, Proudest And/or Favorite Experiences in Your Career?
As an MRI Technologist, looking back, some of my favorite experiences have been working with children. As an instructor, hearing from a former student who has gone on to a successful career and then contacts me to say thank you always makes my day.
What Brought You to Teach at Casa Loma College?
In 2012, the Imaging Director at the time asked if I would like to conduct MRI Labs with students, teach several residential classes and online Medical Terminology. It was a chance to give something back to the school that gave me so much by sharing my knowledge.
What Is Your Favorite Part of Working with Adult Students?
It’s exciting to work with adult students because I see the great potential each one of them has. I have been where they are and personally know what kind of success they can achieve. It’s very inspiring to see the passion they have.
What Attracted You to The Field of Education?
I’ve always had a natural talent for teaching. It’s extremely rewarding. Teaching others provides an opportunity to make a huge difference in someone’s life. I feel I naturally gravitated toward it.
Who Has Influenced You the Most in Life?
My Father.
If You Could Have Dinner with One Person, Living or Dead, Who Would It Be?
I’d like to have dinner with Dr. Raymond Vahan Damadian. The Father of MRI.
How Do You Like to Spend Your Free Time?
I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, fishing, playing my guitar, piano and singing.
What’s something you want to do that you’ve never done before?
I’d like to travel to Europe.
What’s your favorite place you’ve ever visited?
Curacao (on our honeymoon).
What is your favorite book and why? Your favorite movie?
My favorite book is “Clockwork Angels” by Kevin J. Anderson. It’s based on a science fiction story and song lyrics by Neil Peart, the late drummer for the band Rush. My favorite movie is “Captain America: The First Avenger”.
What is something that not many people know about you?
Not many people know I was a country music recording artist. I went by the name Frank Rose.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever heard?
“Don’t take things personally”.
