Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Program Chair / Location Manager – Tennessee Campus

The Program Chair of Imaging/Location Manager oversees the leadership and management of the faculty and students of the imaging programs at the assigned campus. Serves as the primary contact for programmatic, clinical affiliate, and student issues. This position is assigned to teaching duties as well. The position reports to the Program Director of DMS as Program Chair and reports to President as Location Manager.

Location Manager (15%)

      1. Manages and supervises daily
      2. Administers personnel policies as directed by Human
      3. Supervises orientation for all new instructors and staff to the
      4. Resolves student life issues in conjunction with the Director of Student Affairs.

Front Desk Receptionist – Tennessee Campus 

The Front Desk Receptionist will organize, and perform an extensive array of administrative, and program support activities on behalf of the Director of Student Affairs, and other departmental directors. The Front Desk Receptionist will be the primary point of administration for internal and external communications, often on confidential matters.

Minimum:

  • Minimum High School Diploma. College experience preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of one-year experience in administrative support field
  • Proficiency with office technology and equipment
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Creativity and strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills

Student Financial Advisor – Tennessee Campus

The Financial Aid Officer / Financial Aid Advisor will perform the initial counseling of students (and parents) and the subsequent financial aid packaging of Federal Title IV funding for the student (and parent) to pay the cost of the student’s program of education. This position reports directly to the Director of Student Finance & Financial Aid/VA SCO.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • The Financial Aid Officer / Financial Aid Advisor has a minimum of three (3) years’ experience demonstrating the knowledge, skill, and ability to perform the above duties.
  • The Financial Aid Officer / Financial Aid Advisor demonstrates knowledge of Title IV student financial aid programs, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Grant program policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the RGM web-based FAM (Financial Aid Management) system.
  • The Financial Aid Officer / Financial Aid Advisor has knowledge of and experience with Microsoft 365 software suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), data processing software, and computer applications.
  • The Financial Aid Officer / Financial Aid Advisor has a general and working knowledge of accounting practices, tax forms, regulations, and the implications of such on financial aid packaging and eligibility.
  • The Financial Aid Officer / Financial Aid Advisor has the ability to communicate effectively, verbally, and in writing.
  • The Financial Aid Advisor has the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
  • The Financial Aid Officer / Financial Aid Advisor possesses a minimum of an Associate Degree. Years of experience and knowledge may be substituted for degree requirements.

Admissions Advisor – Tennessee Campus

The Admissions Advisor plays a key role in bringing new students into our career programs and providing them with the opportunity to achieve their goals. The Admissions Advisor will assist qualified potential students through the admissions process in an efficient, professional, and supportive manner. This position reports to the Director of Student Affairs.

Responsibilities

  1. The Admissions Advisor advises students undergoing the Admissions process and assist in the collection of the Admissions documents that are required for the start of the first term.
  2. The Admissions Advisor presents to the students correct and timely information about the academic programs, application requirements, enrollment procedure, and any other Admissions information to help them decide on the course or program they want to pursue.
  3. The Admissions Advisor arranges and conducts program information sessions.
  4. The Admissions Advisor communicates with prospective and current students throughout the admissions process and provides the best customer service.
  5. The Admissions Advisor will evaluate each student according to his/her qualification, commitments, motivations, needs, interests, and desires.
  6. The Admissions Advisor must have adequate knowledge of all the programs and courses being offered by Casa Loma College and is also mandated to keep up with the current program changes.
  7. The Admissions Advisor must maintain communication with the other departments such as Academic Departments, Registrar, and Financial Aid to enhance the process of Admissions and establish positive team relationships between departments.
  8. The Admissions Advisor will organize recruiting events and represent the college at high school career fairs, college fairs, and other promotional opportunities.
  9. The Admissions Advisor must be able to establish professional relationships with students and other employees, produce personally developed referrals.
  10. The Admissions Advisor must be able to attend training and seminars for professional development and self-improvement.
  11. It is the role of the Admissions Advisor to record all activities regularly and accurately in the database management system. The Admissions Advisor must ensure that students’ records are correctly created during the Admission Process and are passed on to the appropriate departments.
  12. It is the responsibility of the Admissions Advisor to be knowledgeable and adhere to all appropriate college and state Admissions policies. It is also imperative that he works ethically and always maintains integrity to be able to execute the requirements of the admissions department. Must be able to carry out the core values of Casa Loma College and contribute respect and positive team spirit.

Qualifications Education/Experience

  • Minimum of Associate’s degree
  • 2-3 years of successful experience in admissions, sales, marketing, public relations, recruitment, or another related field.
  • Experience in relationship building, coordinating events, interviewing and customer service.
